Marketing Events Manager required for a brand leader!

What will you be doing?
Love our client and love your job. Working for CPM you will be based in our client Black & Deckers’ offices in Slough. You will be working as a Marketing Events Manager for the UK & ROI business, and your role will include the following
• Working within brand marketing, reporting to the Head of Marketing (Brand)
• Responsible for the integration of the Mac Tools Sponsorship of British Touring Cars.
• Organising events hospitality
• Liaising with the team daily
• Branding and links to commercial, promotional and other key marketing drivers
• Be the figurehead for 2 annual MAC Tools Fairs, including identifying locations for the trade show and driving all event planning and activity ensuring events deliver the maximum commercial return
• This job requires a high level of weekend working therefore the successful candidate must be prepared to work weekends, the full amount of which on the calendar year are still to be determined.

What skills and experience should you have?
• A Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing in B2B or B2C events
• Strong communication and negotiation skills will be essential
• Proven commercial marketing acumen
• Experience working in a fast paced corporate environment

Pay Rate: ROC: £80 per day - On target bonus - 13p per mile

Working dates

Starting 27th March to 19th May 2017, days to be worked Monday to Friday 

Our sales representatives will be interacting with Independent Retailers to promote and sell Wrigley’s products in store. You will meet with all of our retailers face-to-face which allows you to showcase your personalities and add value to the client`s products.

We offer a 1 day paid product training seminar which allows new sales representatives the opportunity to meet our client, fully immerse themselves into the brand and share tips and advice on how to successfully sell into your retailers. You will also have a Team Manager who will give regular guidance and mentoring to ensure your individual success.

Role:

Attend face to face training

Take delivery of a Caddy Van (provided by CPM)

You will be required to visit a minimum of 14 outlets per day

Collect stock from nominated C&C’s

Drive sales of; Skittles & Starburst PMP (price mark packs)  

Correctly reconcile monies

Complete online reporting on TRF - you will require an Android or Apple smart device to complete this.

Ideal Candidates will have proven experience in:

Selling into independent retailers

Working with C&C’s

Money reconciliation / Transfer orders
