Sales Activator – Flexible, creative, strategic thinker who thrives on fresh challenges

Location: Warrington based. Covering National geography dependant on business needs

Salary + Benefits: £23,620.45 pa + performance bonus, company car & 20 days holiday per annum

A strategic, flexible resource deployed on a tactical basis to support any JTI field activity to meet Client business requirements.  Working as part of a wider team in the field, you will report to an Area Development Manager, who will support you, your development and progression.

Specific activity/project requirements and KPIs will be determined for each deployment and activity, but will include:

·         Business development activity to drive sales and performance in specified locations - taking consideration of the appropriate strategy in line with JTI business objectives.  This may be adjusted by JTI/CPM dependant on business needs at the time.

·         NPD distribution across various channels

·         Influence store managers and gain agreements that drive compliance, availability and/or Volume market share growth, benefiting both the client and retailer.

·         Use a range of performance data and sales aids to deliver growth and assist with the implementation of store action plans.

It goes without saying that a graduate career can mean climbing the corporate ladder. But there are alternatives of course. This opportunity is a little different – a career in sales that gives you earlier responsibility, faster progression, and greater rewards. A career with CPM… and the chance to aim for a career with Diageo, the world’s leading premium drinks business.

CPM helps exciting brands to engage with retailers and build sales from the ground up. As part of our Sales Team for Diageo, you will build relationships with retailers in your territory, growing business from store to store and realise your potential within a challenging and exhilarating performance culture. You’ll need drive and a truly entrepreneurial spirit - becoming a passionate advocate of great brands like Smirnoff, Gordon’s, Captain Morgan’s, Baileys, and Jeremiah Weed.

This is a role in which self-starters thrive and people with initiative can accelerate their development. Focused on Diageo’s innovation brands, you’ll need the energy, verve and communication skills to bring new drinks concepts to life for Store Managers and their teams. We’re looking for intelligent, articulate, commercially aware people who can champion new products, implement category driving initiatives and thrill retailers with their enthusiasm. Above all, you’ll have a positive impact on sales at store level.

At CPM talented people don’t wait long for rewards and progression. If you can make a difference – a real difference - to the profitability of retailers, of our clients and of our business - there are huge career opportunities waiting for you either with CPM and or Diageo themselves.

A full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are essential.
