The purpose of the Sales Merchandiser is to proactively drive product sales through availability and compliance in store by way of merchandising or actively selling campaigns and brands to key heads of department to promote and increase brand awareness. This can include: Plugging distribution gaps, merchandising stock exactly to planogram, implementing POS, activating promotions, store auditing, ordering the correct stock, walking in stock and/or POS and siting it in accordance to the activity brief, where directed gain incremental space/POS for products and brands for which the specific requirements are identified on a bespoke brief available to each merchandiser prior to the call.

CPM are looking for experienced sales merchandisers to work with our clients Incomm and GSK to ensure their products are in excellent order, tidy, fully stocked and merchandised. You will need to create and build on in-store relationships encouraging the store staff to look after the display when you are not in store; we are looking to make you the brand ambassador for your nominated stores.

You will be required:
• To build and maintain a good quality relationship with staff in store
• To ensure the stands / displays are in good order for the customer to shop, tidy, fully stocked and merchandised
• To merchandise stock exactly to planogram
• To ordering the correct stock (when necessary)
• To walk in stock and/or POS and site it
• To activate promotions
• To complete store auditing
• To encourage store to keep stock levels at an appropriate level
• To hold a currently driving licence and have a vehicle in working order as some minimal travel will be required and to carrying of POS to store
• To Complete store accreditation to visit Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda stores (if you have not already done so)
• Attendance at brand training sessions is required – these could be monthly

The role
