Working autonomously as well as within a team, you will be target driven and responsive to deadlines. Able to build strong working relationships with your clients you will be responsible for a territory of between 200 – 300 independent and convenience stores.

Have you developed your sales skills in a retail or field sales background?

Here at CPM we are looking for someone to join our field sales team working on behalf of LRS - Lucozade, Ribena and Suntory. Driving the sales of Ribena and Lucozade within the independent and convenience sector, you will grow the product range and space while selling directly from your car, maximising distribution and availability. Your focus will shift onto volume sales drives at key points during the year. Range and space can also be increased by providing a category approach to the retailers’ own chilled equipment and gaining agreement for the placement of new coolers.

Able to establish and maintain great customer relationships, you will have a calm approach with a strong commercial acumen and the ability to discuss financials confidently using commercial persuasiveness to influence sales. Working autonomously as well as within a team, you will be target driven and responsive to deadlines. You should be of a graduate calibre or experienced in FMCG sales and within a profit loss environment.

The Candidates:
• Must have previous experience in shop fitting
• Will own or have access to appropriate Tools – Screwdriver and wrench
• Must be happy to drive a transit size van (this will be provided)
• Will need to take delivery of a pallet of kit (which can be kept in the van once delivered)

The Role:
• Calling on nominated Asda stores (working in pairs) some days will require an early evening start from 6.00pm and subsequent evening calls would be from 10.00pm, other will be a 10pm to 6am shift; in call time estimated at 4 hours per call with a maximum of 2 calls per night
• You will be removing the doors and door frame from the tobacco unit (the unit must remain legal at all times e.g. not visible to the store customers so screens will be provided)
• Cleaning and lubricating the runners making sure all wheels work correctly and the doors close to conform to legal requirements
• Planogram changes through moving shelves to new notch heights and in some clusters the addition of an extra shelf
• Merchandise to new planogram
• The main store installation programme will run from Sunday through to Thursday with each team covering 2 installs per night.
• Some calls might require an overnight / day time stay which will be provided with substance
• Report your calls using our online system – Tactical retail force daily

What is the role?
Working for CPM as a Territory Development manager on our Prestigious Grocery and High Street Team, the role is to maximise product availability and drive sales through building effective relationships with key store contacts. You will be armed with intelligent data as part of your toolkit enabling you to drive sales for both the retailer and ultimately P&G. Able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, your drive will ensure every sales opportunity is maximised and targets achieved.

Who are we looking for?
• High calibre individual with the passion and flair to make a significant contribution to our team
• Good IT skills
• Ability to hold business development conversations at all levels
• Full UK Driving licence essential
• Experience of field sales or retail within FMCG or High street is an advantage, although we welcome applications from anyone who can display the above required qualities and would relish the opportunity to really manage and develop their own territory.
