Your role in retail merchandising will be to visit Asda stores in your area in a fortnightly cycle. When in store you will focus on improving displays and maximising on product availability- making sure the products are on the shelf and not in the stock room. You will also make sure that your store contacts are fully aware of all current and future promotional offers. Your relationships with in-store staff will help them to understand the importance of having good displays and how this can help improve sales for both Asda and Proctor & Gamble. As an added bonus you’ll be using a hand held personal computer to record all the information you gather which means there won’t be lots of paperwork.
